#92 - Dr. Andrew Weaver

Dr. Andrew Weaver is the Member of Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for the riding of Oak Bay-Gordon Head since 2013. From December 2015 to January 2020, he was the leader of the Green Party of British Columbia.

He is a Member of the Order of British Columbia, a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and a winner of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for his role as a lead author in the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate with a group that included former US Vice President, Al Gore. He has authored or coauthored over 200 peer-reviewed papers in a variety of academic journals.
